About this website

The HFIG website was created in 2010 by Ori Barbut, the HFIG webmaster at the time.

He used Drupal and a plethora of user-submitted modules to provide HFIG members with the ability to directly control their own profile information and mailing list membership (without having to e-mail the webmaster to get this done), and allow the HFIG executive the ability to easily create and modify web content (without having to e-mail the webmaster to get this done).
